What are the benefits of strength training for children?

What strength training can do for your child goes far beyond the benefits of increased strength, power, coordination and endurance. In addition, it offers better cardiovascular health and increased bone density. Strength training can also enhance a kid's self-esteem, improve his body image and provide discipline and self-confidence.
